Agreement sealed between Chelsea and Brighton for the transfer of the 35 year old English Striker Danny Welbeck, Welbeck has agreed to a two year contract that means he will be at the club until 2028. It was also reported last night by David Ornstein that details were being finalised and Brighton had given permission for a medical, the plan is for the medical to be completed by the end of the week so that Welbeck can join the squad for the Hong Kong portion of their pre season tour.
