Coventry City Agree €30m Deal to Sign Ghana International Caleb Yirenkyi from FC Nordsjælland
COVENTRY — Coventry City have reached a major agreement with Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland to sign Ghanaian international midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi.
According to initial reports by Danish journalist Farzam Abolhosseini, the deal is valued at a guaranteed €27 million (£23.3m) fee, with an additional €3 million in structured add-ons, bringing the total transfer package to €30 million.
The 20-year-old central midfielder, a standout product of the Right to Dream Academy, has emerged as one of the most sought-after young prospects in European football following his performances in Denmark and key contributions for Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
